Community Guidelines

Flirting only works when both people can relax. These are the rules that make that possible — for you and for the person on the other side.

They apply to both sides

Everything here applies equally to you and to the person you are talking to, in matches, calls, messages, posts and live rooms. Everyone on Flingster must be at least 18 years old.

Removed immediately

  • Anything involving a person under 18. Removed at once and reported to the authorities, with no warning.
  • Explicit material. Calls, messages and live rooms stay non-explicit. Flirty is fine; explicit is not.
  • Recording. Recording the other person, or passing on any part of a call.
  • Threats and coercion, including pressing someone for money, photos or contact details elsewhere.

Removed if it continues

  • Harassment. Insults, intimidation, or carrying on after a no. A no does not need a reason.
  • Hate aimed at who someone is.
  • Impersonation, including using someone else's face or photos.
  • Selling and recruiting. If the aim is to send someone somewhere else, it does not belong here.
  • A fake camera. A black screen or a still picture in a video match wastes the other person's time. If you do not want to be seen, choose voice or text.

Next is not rude

Moving on is part of a random chat. Tapping Next or ending a call needs no explanation, and paying for a call or sending a gift does not change that for either side. What matters is how you behave while you are in it.

What happens after a report

You can report someone during a call, or from their profile, a chat, a post or a live room: you pick a reason and can add details and up to 3 screenshots, and a person reviews it. Blocks take effect immediately, and you can undo one any time from your block list.

If you think a removal was wrong

A suspended account can be appealed. Use the contact page and it will be looked at again. The formal version of these rules is the Terms of Service.
