Is there a Flingster app?
Flingster is a web app, so there is nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play. It runs in the browser you already have, on phones and computers, so there is nothing to install or keep updated.
On a phone you can still give it an app icon. Added to your home screen, it opens full screen without the browser bars, one tap from your other apps.
How do I put Flingster on my phone?
- iPhone: open flingster.vip in Safari, tap the Share button, choose "Add to Home Screen", then tap Add.
- Android: open flingster.vip in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu, choose "Add to Home screen" or "Install app", then confirm.
The first video or voice match asks for camera and microphone access — tap Allow. Pictures of each step and fixes for a black screen or missing sound are on Flingster on your phone.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start as a guest. A guest account lives on the device you used, so bind an email to it — or sign up with email — if you want to keep it and open it on another device.
Can I chat without my camera?
Yes. In the Match tab, pick voice (microphone only) or text instead of video. Video matches need your camera on.
Can I choose who I talk to?
Yes. Open who's online, pick a language tab or filter by country, and call someone directly from her card or profile. Random matches are different: they cannot be set to a country — here is how choosing a country on Flingster works.
Camera, sound and connection
The other person cannot see or hear me
- Check that your browser may use the camera and microphone for flingster.vip — the camera or lock icon in the address bar.
- Close other apps or tabs that might be using the camera.
- Move to a steadier connection; Wi-Fi is usually better than a weak mobile signal.
- Reload the page, or try another up-to-date browser.
Why can't I press Next yet?
In a call, Next becomes available after a short countdown. When it ends, Next takes you straight to someone new. If the other person leaves first, Flingster matches you again on its own.
Coins, gifts and VIP
Is Flingster free?
Signing up is free. Some accounts get free video or voice matches — the Match tab shows how many are left, and text matches never use them up. After that, calls use coins.
How much does a call cost?
Each call has its own price, shown in the app. A notice appears in the call before billing starts, so you are never charged without seeing it.
What is Flingster VIP?
An optional membership. VIP members get a VIP badge in chats and live rooms, and can hide it whenever they like.
My coins have not arrived
Confirmation from the payment provider can take a moment, so check your wallet again shortly. If they are still missing, see contact and keep your payment receipt handy.
Safety
Is Flingster safe?
Flingster gives you the controls, and people check what gets reported. Everyone must be at least 18. In any call you can end it or tap Next at once, with no reason given. You can report someone during a call or from their profile, a chat, a post or a live room, and block anyone so they cannot call or message you. Personal data is not sold, and card numbers never reach Flingster's pages — payments go through a payment provider on its own page.
The part that is up to you: keep passwords, payment details, your address and other contact details out of chats, and bind an email so your account cannot be lost. The full rules are in the community guidelines.
What happens after I report someone?
You pick a reason, can add a few words and up to 3 screenshots, and a person reviews the report. An account that broke the rules is removed. You can also block the person straight away, without waiting for the review.
Can I undo a block?
Yes. A block works straight away, and you can lift it any time from your block list.
My account was suspended. Can I appeal?
Yes. If you think it was a mistake, write through the contact page with the account it concerns, and the decision is looked at again.
I changed phones and lost my account
An account with an email bound to it can be opened again on any device. A guest or Quick Sign in account has no email behind it, so it stays on the device it was made on and cannot be recovered from a new one. If you are still on your old device, bind an email now.
Someone made me uncomfortable
Report them right there in the call, or end the call or tap Next — no reason needed. You can also report them later from their profile, your chat or the live room and, if you want, block them.
Can I stay anonymous?
A guest account needs no email or real name. Whatever account you use, keep passwords, payment details and your address out of chats.
